Curved cabinet doors
I have a cabinet project that requires 90deg. curved doors. These are framed glass doors. The doors form part of a kitchen cabinet that has vinyl rap doors etc.
I was planning to form the curved part of the door frame with 3mm ply laminates glued around a former until the thickness has been achieved.
I have also noticed an alternative product supplied by the Laminex Group that has a slotted rear face. Once formed to the desired radius the slots are filled with glue or filler to set the shape.
Does anyone have experience with laminating curved doors or has had experience with the Laminex Group product?

I have not, but I know students at Sevenoaks College have recently been moulding plywood for chairs.
They have some kind of former, and use a vacuum press. The first problem was the former imploded. Mark II is quite solid.
I gather that you're on the right track with 3mm, but it seems there are thicker plywoods also suitable for bending. I picked up an offcut about 50mm wide, and it was about as flexible as my leather belt, I wrapped it round my waist without stressing it.John

I am currently making a set of speakers from multiple layers of ply.
I glued and screwed the first sheet to the ribs/formers and then just glued the rest.
Held it all together while it was drying with a piece of kerfed mdf and nylon tiedowns.

You can bend solid wood by Kerfing with a TS don't know if it would work on your project. Take a look at this tute from Stu's Shed
Reality is no background music.

The product from Laminex will do exactly what you require but you will pay a premium for it. You can get exactly the same results sawing multiple kerfs into one side of any kind of material, softwood, hardwood, MDF or ply.
