Curved cabinet with drawers
Ok chaps,
Thought I'd show you what I do, a lot of kitchen work, high end, lots of curves.
All the rails are solid no laminations, they are traditional 5 piece drawer fronts.
Solid oak drawer boxes, with the curve at the front.
I will be building a kitchen in January with lots of curves, I'll make sure I do work in progress pictures.

Very nice
I had the same question, did you bend the wood or is it out of a solid piece?

Hi,
The curves are rough cut out of 3" stock with a bandsaw, then shaped accurately on a spindle moulder using a 80mm rebate block and same size bearing, with a template on the top and bottom of the stock.
The reason for the 2 templates is so the work can be flipped to run it with the grain.
The tenons are then run as normal but the work is mounted in a jig to get the angles correct.
The groove is run with a router on a curved fence
