I cut down cherry tree one limb was hollow. Feeler comments.
It is just too beautiful to burn, I am too busy to get creative and I am too broke to give away.
Comments, advice, offers are welcome.
The hollow core was stuffed with sprouted acorns a squirrel must have stuffed in there.
They are about 15" long. Sorry if this is the wrong area, but this is also a discussion post.

Someone gave me something similar a couple of years ago. I turned a neck on the top third and polished up the remainder. Plugged the base and gave it back as a dried flower/large weed pot to the person.
It still sits proudly on their hearth today.Dragonfly
No-one suspects the dragonfly!

The Holy Branch.
Hi ChrisNJ1,
You maybe able to put them back in the Lathe, & clean out the inside, make a bottom, Turn a Lid Put a Hole in the Side, & give it to the Birds as a Nesting Box.Regards,
issatree.
