Someone to cut wood for me - southern suburbs Sydney?
Hey all,
A call for assistance if I may.
Bunnings now stock a cheaper brand of laminated pine panels than the Porta ones. Not quite as nice, but for what I want, perfect.
However, I need to get 2x panels (1800x600x17) cut for me into 1200mm & 500mm lengths but don't trust Bunnings as it needs to be accurate (accurate enough that it will make a 1200x500x600 frame). When Bunnings stuffs it by a couple of mm, it will be a nightmare for me.
I could 'manage' but I don't have confidence in the accuracy of the end result being any better than Bunnings. My marking, clamping and lining up skills are pretty poor.
Is there anyone local (Sutherland Shire area) that might be able to assist? Not sure what I can offer, some $ or whatever. I will be very thankful as well.

Thanks. I even managed to countersink the screw holes, everything is straight and neat. I know its just 4 bits of wood, but you don't know my skill level, confidence level, tools, and workspace limitations.
Gotta get a decent corner clamp instead of those plastic crap things. Geez they are rubbish!

Well I guess your confidence level can go up a notch now and you have gained experience. As to space there is a Portuguese chap on the forum who has to work on a small bench in the kitchen. Tools are time and money. The main thing is to enjoy it and you seem well on the way. It is not only four bits of wood stuck together, it is the fruit of your labour and the mark of overcoming the limitations you face. It is your creation!
Good luck and keep on keeping on.

Thanks Mini. I might take you up on the offer, if I'm happy with how it finishes up I'll be changing all my enclosures to these same ones so will be building a couple more and will be easier to do it all at once.
