Angry Ever had one of those days???

I'm sure we've all had "those" days but I need to vent so here goes.

Wednesday afternoon (a good day ) I started on my first ever picture frames. Cut the wood - all free stuff - and routed various edgings onto them. Started to put them together and decided it would be well worth the $30 to buy a frame clamp. Went to the hardware outlet and they didnt have one. But they did have a retracting air hose reel for $99 (wont name it), which I purchased cause I am sick of coiling the hose after use. Also got the necessary fittings. Then went to work overnight. Got paid over night so went shopping the thurdsay and found the clamp (bunnings) and also purchased a v-nail applicator. (not bunnings)

Got home at 10am and had the rest of the day off. Two jobs to do, finish the frames and hang the hose reel on the wall. Decided to start with the frames. Unfortunately I had bought the "better" clamp with the steel band. Initially the corner pieces seemed hard to move. Aplied some force, lost my grip and found that the steel band goes in a long way as you run your hand over it with speed and force. OUCH, nice cut in the top of my right thumb, better find a band aid or something. Took 15 minutes to find anything in the house to apply. Being to stupid to stop I decided to change jobs and work on the hose reel. Connected all fittings and it leaked so fast the compressor was loosing ground. Pulled the whole thing apart cause the air was coming from the inner connection. Took 2 hours to get it back together (thumb still oozing blood through the dressing)and while the leak was slowed it still lost air. Took it back, instant change over. Next one didnt leak but plastic cover was smashed, took it back got a refund. Went elsewhere and spent some more money and bought a better reel (not spring retractactable) and finally got it mounted on the wall at 4.50pm and no frames done and finger throbbing like mad:confused:

But first thing this morning went out and finished the frames no problems

    Rowan,

Were you in my shed this week?? I am sure I had a ghost who kept knocking things of shelves, benches etc and destroying those little projects you do whilst waiting for things to dry. So far this week, I have made 9, yes 9, double winged planes and all have gone through BBQ (Most probably didn't need to) Ended up maching a piece of Camphour and finally it now sits in the safest place of all. In my sons room
