Deck Finish
Hey all,
About 3 months ago i'd completed building a deck out of merbau and last weekend i decided to give it a coat of oil.
Firstly i scrubbed it down with Cabots deck clean then let that dry, then i applied a coat of Feast Watson natural decking oil, now this is the problem.
Half an hour after i'd finished it began to rain and five days later it's still raining on and off. Firstly the water just beaded on the surface, then it gathered in lager pools and had a thin film of oil on the surface of the water, so i hosed the deck down and now where the film of oil had pooled the timber has dark stain.
So now i am unsure of my next step, should i wash it again with deck clean and give it a high pressure hose or is the something else i should do, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
