Deck with limited final height
Dear all,
I'm planning to build a deck on my home alfresco area. Alfresco has a concrete foundation.
The issue I'm facing is that the height of the deck is limited to 150mm. In other words, the height from the concrete surface to the level of the alfresco door sill is 150mm.
If I put bearers(height 90 mm) on top of concrete and joists(height 90mm) on top of bearers and decking board(20 mm) on top of joists, they all would add up to 200mm which exceeds 150mm height.
Please advise me as to how to get around this challenge!
Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Id lose the bearers and dyna bolt brackets to the slab and attack the joists to them this will allow you to acheive the correct height and get a nice straight level deck regardless of how the concrete falls or dips I have done this on a couple of jobs and worked well
