    Default European woodworking shows

    Happy Australia day!!!!
I'm currently over in France 'til September this year and desperately need to fill in time.

Does anyone know of any French or Italian woodworking shows, fine furniture exhibitions or similar.

I've browsed the net and only managed to find trendy plastic furniture shows.

Any time wasting ideas would be appreciated.
    Cheers.

    Read a book.

O you want to waste time with wood.

Ok. Read a wood working book.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

I just thought it would be a good opportunity to see a few woodworking shows over here. I thought that maybe a few members may know of a good working show over here, but obviously not.
    Cheers.

O my word. No one knows of any wood working shows in Europe.

At least this bumps this up to the top?

OK you didn't say anything about your knowledge of French, so I will assume none.

Try using these terms in a google search:

    expo / exposition

    artisan
    ebeniste / ebenisterie
    bois

limit your results to domain .fr

Here are a couple of hits to get you started.

    http://en.expobois.fr/ExposiumCms/do/exhibition/Expobois+GB/home/SALON/siteId_291810/pageId_156159

    http://exposition.vivastreet.fr/annonces-exposition+guilherand-07500/salon-de-l--ebenisterie--bois-et-deco/11985549/p

    Good luck with your search.
