Decking Query
Hi all!
I have with interest read many things on this forum in the quite a while and have earned my learning from the experts. Now I need your help.
I have an alfresco 4.5 x 5 meters. My problem is my concrete slab its not leveled and its about 86 mm difference. i decided to have a decking which is easier to level.
my question is:
1. can i use a 90 x 45 mm treated pine as joist or much bigger?
2. whats the best way to level the joist? using post? galvanised angle?
3. whats the best distance between the joist?
thanks

G'Day,
90x45 treated pine would be fine
450mm centres for joists
Cement sheet for packing where up to 30mm, rip pine to act as bearers where greater (depending if gradual fall)
Dynabolt brackets to concrete to hold joists/bearers in place
Dont let the pine be in contact with the concrete, use malthoid
Hope this helps, cheers, Steve
