    Question Delta 36-600 Tablesaw

Can anyone PLEASE tell me the spanner size I need to undo the nut which holds the blade in place ? I was given the tablesaw but it has no instruction book or tools with it.

Are you also sure you are turning the nut the right way?

The spanner should be 22mm or 7/8".

Stand on the operator side of the table saw as if you are feeding timber into the saw. Raise the plade to the full height. Use a scrap of timber against the teeth of the blade to prevent the blade from turning. Put the box end of the spanner over the arbour nut and pull the spanner towards you. (This should be true for BOTH left and right tilting saws.)

To install the blade, rest the spanner on the table top and pull the blade towards you. This will tighten the blade for use.

I have been turning the nut in the opposite direction to which the blade spins but have been using a shifter as I don't have a spanner which fits.

Thank you for the information. I will obtain a spanner in the size you suggest.
