    Default Design software?

Can anyone recommend a software package that will give me realistic 3D views of kitchens, wardrobes, bookshelves, and also automatically workout a cutting list, ,price of materials, etc. I dont have a CNC so i dont need it to be able to talk to one, i just want to be able to speed things up. I know there are a few things on the market but would like to know if anyone that uses such software could recommend a good one.

    Thanks

I also use Google Sketchup. I find it simple to use. That is the only application that I am using at the moment. I have tried to use CAD but that was some decade ago?

Another vote for sketchup....(from a weekend hacker)
I also recently found a cutlist and layout plugin for it:

Attached is a basic cupboard I modeled recently.

Thanks guys. I must have a better look at it considering a program like Cabmaster pro is $8000.
