    Default Desk Organiser Box/Tray

    Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum, wow what a great weath of informatin here!
I want to make a desk top organiser for my girlfriend for her birthday, just wondering if anyone has made or seen one before? any ideas on size, features etc? I'm thinking a top tray for documents, a spot for a post-it-note pad, and maybe a cup of some sort for pens?
I won 2 first prizes in last years sydney Working With Wood show too in case anyone was there and saw a wooden surfboard? whoa that sounded very gloatful?!

thats the one actually saw you there with the board at the show congrats on 1st prize

So how does it handle ??? Hope you have caught bigger waves than the video showed with it

My old TAFE teacher had a wooden board he reckoned the worst thing is if it came back to bite you or good whack it could do serious damage.

I only ever body surfed I was as thin as a board then now days more like a beached whale.

Ok so whats this years project for the WWS

Hi , I'll let Wheelin talk surfboards with you and give you a few suggestions re the Desk Organiser

To get ideas, look around the shops, magazines, other people's desks, books in the library, catalogues, search Google Images for pictures or lay out the items you want to house in the organiser and move them around until you are happy with the mock-up. Then decide on timber, joints and away you go - Fun!!

    cheers
    Wendy
