Gordon
I am currently making a coffee table and am about to use the same to fasten top to frame except that mine are same size on both sides
I have had mine for some time and cannot remember where I got them - I suspect at the Wood Show sometime over past 5 to 6 years
I would try Howard Silvers, Bradley Wilson, Hafele or similar suppliers. One of your local cabinet makers or kitchen people may be able to help you

Rang Plyboard Distrubutors here in Dandenong and they have something similar, it's a figure 8 but both sides are the same.
I wonder if there is any advantage with the type I originally asked about.
Thanks all for input, this site really is a great repository of knowledge.Gordon

figure 8 fasteners
Any hardware store should be able to order these if they don't have them in sto
ck. Zenith have them and also Hafele who are in every state.
J. Stevens in Brisbane.
P.S. Sometimes I make my own out of old hinge metal. Drill and countersink holes from opposing sides. A hacksaw and a grinding wheel does the trick in a few minutes!
