DIY Glass Top Dining Table - Advice Needed
Hi All,
I'm a long time lurker and first time poster so please bear with me!
I hope I'm in the right place, I am wanting to make a Dining table similar to this: 55 Glass Top Dining Tables With Original Bases | DigsDigs
I'm wondering how to go about doing this? I am ideally wanting something that looks like a tree stump with 'branches' that attach to a rectangular tapered glass base. I will most likely get the glass professionally done.
Any ideas, comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think you'll find that the 'tree' is not wood, it would not take the stresses. More likely to be a metal of some-sort. A version could be made but it would be more robust looking.
