    Default Document Box just finished

    I made my first box over xmas, along with other things. It's for me for a change, hope you like it. Made from red gum, silky oak and purple heart with felt inside. I used a Neil Scobie design from an old mag. Here are the picks with some wip pics also.

    Beautiful woodwork. Well done!!

    How did you finish it? I am having trouble with my finishing ruining good work, and learning by looking at how others do it

    I used eee ultra shine, then shellawax cream followed by traditional wax all from U-Beaut and some elbow grease.
