Door modification
Hi guys, i need some assistance please. We have three external doors that we need to make longer. They will be painted, basically one door needs 50mm added, and the french doors 50mm top and 50mm bottom. Anyone in Adelaide willing to help me with this?
Regards
Erick

Well could add to one side or the other -or both/2 Will always show with a stained /clear coat door. (stained Oregon?) Personally I'd go for the hinge side -dunno why but seems less obvious -possibly less in your face LITERALLY. Just an opinion.

Looks good. I've seen plenty of doors shortened and cut through the bottom tenons. Adding a batten to lengthen it should be no problem. I'd be using exterior rated glue with maybe a dowel into the stiles.
