I have never used one but ti looks good. I have seen it demo'd at woodworking shows several times and like it. Also we have a gentleman on a woodworking show who uses it a lot for his joinery as well. He makes it out to be a very simple and effective tool to use.

I must say after getting a Dowelmax and using it for a week or three, it is the best dowel jig I have ever used.
Ok so doweling is not as fast as biscuits, but if you have a need for a dowel jig, this would be the one to grab hands down. It's solid as you know what and very versatile. Some innovate tools that come with make lining up holes in long boards pretty much foolproof.
You wouldn't be disappointed if you bought this item.
