Now I have my own library of woodwork books. I will never get anything else done.
Experience is that knowlege that enables you to recognise a mistake when you make it again. :B

Thanks for finding this. I think I might have hard-copy reprints of a couple titles. I didn't even try to download any via juice cans and string (dialup), but bookmarked for impending connection upgrade.

I'm currently downloading a book from
http://www.freebookspot.com/
which has the complete set of Harold Hall's Workshop Series books (highly regarded for those wishing to learn metalwork, so I tossed up whether to add to this thread, or post under the metalworking forum).
Haven't completed the download, or checked it for nasties as yet, so someone on a connection faster than dial-up may like to give feedback.
Neither have I yet looked for woodworking books - just saw this post just as I found the link above.

Have downloaded one of the Harold Hall books and didn't find any nasties.
Scanning is not high quality, but good value at the price!
Thanks for that link, there is heaps of other stuff for download, including woodworking, finishing, CNC, electronics - the list goes on.
