    Unhappy Dremel Stylus Cordless Tool

Would anyone out there be able to steer me to an Australian supplier of this tool ? I can't find anyone that actually has them in the country as yet . A website would be preferable. Help would be much appreciated.

Just Tools have got it. Looks a lot bulkier than the corded version.

If you REALLY want it now, just order it from a US supplier and buy a 240>110 transformer brick from Jaycar/Dick Smith/etc.

Apparently cordless tools are a PITA to get past the electrical certifying authorities, seems they throw a wettie over the battery chargers, which is why we never saw Porter-Cable cordless tools here. This is really only a problem if you are trying to sell the tools retail

You may not need the transformer, most of the electronics coming out now which has a adaptor pack can work from 100-250 volts. I am in the Australian navy on an American built frigate and my phone charger, laptop and camera docking station all run 110v no worries. You just need to check the adaptor pack for its voltage range.

It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
