Sounds like I might give the infeed/outfeed tables a miss for now then (benefit atm is a discount and free shipping because it would be sent with the machine - but it's not cheap if they aren't needed/useful). I guess it wouldn't be difficult to knock up some light duty support tables to simply gather/hold stock and a roller system would be better for actual large/heavy pieces as you guys suggest.
I've often looked at the long conveyor style rollers but figure you'd need a perfectly aligned floor so the the roller table is aligned in height and lateral/longitudinal angles with the machine that it is feeding into. Not something that would be quick to do if you didn't want to set it up fairly permanently.

Hi Gary,
I'm not sure what their usual process is, but I spoke to the salesman and put down a holding deposit as I'm currently overseas and won't be able to collect until I get back, relatively soon.
I guess I'll give the feed tables a miss for now. Use the machine for a bit and decide from there. Thanks guys.
Now just need to sort out a router table or spindle moulder and a lathe! Getting out of cash before the central banks inflate it to nothing .
I figure i'll either be broke with some machines or just broke haha.
Cheers, Dom

Well I got back from a holiday in Italy Thursday night and picked up the Supermax 25-50 from the local depo yesterday. Now I just need to make space in the garage and build a base for it. I'm thinking an open rectangular structure that will allow for storage of Festool systainers or beneath - which will allow me to move them from their current location on a shelving unit I want to clear up so I can reduce it in size to make more space in the garage.
Could anyone with a Supermax provide the vertical distance from of the top of the conveyor belt to the bottom of the mounting point? I'd really appreciate it, as it will save me unpacking and temporarily assembling etc to get this dimension.
Cheers, Dom
