Dumb question
Hei Guys,
Started cutting the timber for the router bench and now I need to work out how to put the bench together.
Construction is chipboard top with 4x2 jarrah for the frame - probably overkill but the jarrah was only $2 a metre from the demo yard and the weight will add stability.
The plan is 4 legs with cross rails all the way round at the and about half way up and there will be a couple of cross beams across the top for added support as well.
What is the best way to join all this. The cross beams on top will be recessed in to the rails, but at each corner I have to join two cross rails and a leg - I would prefer to have the side & front/back rails at the same level.
Should I just make two rectangular frames and the bolt the legs on - if can I'd rather have the whole thing flush.
Cheers
Paul
