Dust extraction help
I have a small man cave (~4mx 2m) packed full of woodworking equipment. Space is of a real concern. As such I have really tried to avoid installation of a dust extraction unit, until now.
Recently I have been making a lot of furniture out of mdf. The dust is killing my lungs and eyes. It is now not an option to go without.
I need something small and my current thinking is a 30l Kincrome shop vac down beside my Carbatec table saw - it is a space not in use.
Concerns I have are as follows:
Will it have sufficient suction for my more regularly used tools- bench saw, track saw, drop saw, bench router, jig saw, lanisher etc.
The supplied 1.5m hose seems far too short. Is there somewhere I can buy extension hose?
All my tools have different size extraction connectors. Is there a cost effective way to be able to connect to each of my tools?
I am very interested to hear from others who have solved similar problems

Slight progress
I have ascertained that I can probably get away with the 20l version (k15020) of the Kincrome and I have also worked out that Incan get a genuine 5m hose extension (k15020-39).
The hose is 38mm which is the same size as the triton router so sounds like it will fit. Still not sure how to connect my other tools.

You don't have to have a small dust extractor. My workshop isn't huge either so I put the 2HP dustie with cyclone and collection drum outside in an adjacent garden shed. Just poke a hole in the wall or bring the vacuum hose in through the door.

Nice idea however the wife won't support that set up as it will mean the aesthetic's of the front entry to the house will be degraded

Still not clear on direction but now also wondering if I should go the 30l version as it has the gpo.
I am not clear on how this works though. I have read that the connected power tool will start and stop the vac when it is activated however I am not sure how this works. Does the vac have a sensor that monitors current?
