Default Electric jack suitable for router lift or jack bench

I just saw this electric scissor jack advertised on Aldi's web site. One might be suitable for making a router lift or a pair could be used to make a jack bench.

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Default Electric Jack.

    Hi WW,
I go to the Geelong ( Vic. ) Sunday Markets most mornings, & there is a Chap there that sells a similar 1 like the Aldi 1.
Not sure of the Price, but will check it out this coming Sunday.
    Regards,
    issatree.

It would have some workshop uses but its $99. Most woodies will already have a cordless drill that could drive a jack. Old jacks can be scrounged up for very little.
Must be one of those days where my Scottish instincts kick in.

After looking mire carefully I tend to agree. I got so excited when I saw it that I didn't see the big red price. Also, if the motor breaks you have to reconfigure the jack mounting - I don't imagine that all these things are the same.

Back to manual I think. Have to admit, cool idea tho
