In this case I was replacing the motor on a metal cut off saw which was made by my grandfather. It is obviously a fabricated item. So if you're in my shed wanting to use my equipment & can't tell it is not a factory produced commercial item then whose the D.H.
There are certainly some very highly qualified, experienced, and intelligent people on this forum to provide advice and guidance. There is also inherent dangers in using machines aside from electricity. I think the forum inserted disclaimer at the bottom of the opening post is enough.…..Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands
