Envirotrim 1800 -spare parts help
I'm new to joinery and have been using an old preglue Envirotrim 1800 edgebander on my first kitchen job ( big learning curve !) .
I'm getting inconstant results - particularly when using 1mm tape where I'm often getting small imprints in the banding. I'm hoping that replacing the very pitted pressure roller may help but as this company no longer exists I'm having a great deal of trouble trying to source spare parts.
Any ideas where I could source something like this please?

I wonder whether you could simply buy a section of 46mm OD rubber (solid), cut it down to 50mm length, and then drill out a hole in the middle to accept a steel/aluminium tube of 12mm ID?
In other words, make your own?

I used a boat trailer roller with the bobbin ends cut off.
They are available in a variety of materials so you can select one to suit your need.
Large selection available from BCF stores.

Nice idea- as long as it can resist the heat as it is very close to heater
