Expansion gap in timber floor
I have a client with a very expensive well layed hardwood timber floor. The tradesmen who installed the floor have left an expansion joint approx 10mm wide that runs from the front to the back of the house at the point where the entance hall meets the living area. The expansion joint is obviously the depth of the timber, it is noticeable and a dust/ debris trap. Is there a product that can be used to fill the expansion joint that will cope with being in a high traffic area without bulgeing?
Cheers

We would use a cork strip in teh expansion gap, but normally hide it under the skirting or other architrave.

They put cork in ours - you have to look hard to see it too (went in pre-finishing). We've got a red ironbark floor
