    Default Faking it

I was just noodling on the net and tripped accross this video:

ToolGirl Mag Ruffman - Transferring Photo Images to Wood - YouTube

I thought, since I'm having trouble getting some exotics... hmmm, wonder if I found some high res photos, transferred them onto some nice ply and then sealed it with urethane... perhaps I could fake a few boxes, even if its just the insides

    Anyone done something like this?

(Its just as fake as that ridiculous flooring that Bunnings sells. Essentially a laminated photograph... yeah, its Mahogany or Teak all right!)

Sort of. I transfer cutting patterns to wood using ordinary laser print or photocopy that way. It's a lot less messy than carbon paper or spray adhesive.

Eh, it sort of looks, eh, like it might be a eh, usable idea.

But hell, who employed the dippy lady as a presenter!

Please tell me people don't rally what that sort of programme, please!
