Fathers day
Who knows what they are getting for fathers day. Or getting for someone else.
I've got three little girls so I'm getting a locking mitre router bit and two forstner bits to match the pennies and half pennies I mentioned on another thread.
It'll be wine for my dad, he got a cordless Bosch drill for retirment a few years ago from his workmates and didnt even know how to put bit in it.____________________________

Fathers Day!
unfortunately, I have gigs away this weekend & won't be here for the occaision. I did however have a magnificent Colen Clenton 6" Rose Sheoak & solid rolled brass square arrive in the post along with a Ramped shooting board from Michael O'Connor all via MIK International. So I have two adorable children (James 2yo & Brooke 4yo) who will no doubt wake me after about an hours sleep on Mon morning after the 6 hr drive home on Sun night to give Dad his presents. Can't wait to see the look on SWMBO face when I get exactly what I want for Fathers day eh! I am having the square engraved for the occaision as one day I hope my little bloke can make good use of such a fine quality hand tool & have fond memories of it's history.
Bring on Fathers day!!!

Since this thread is "beat your neighbour" I have to have a gloat.
My good wife had a win in a shopping mall competition recently, and is spoiling me. Saturday am I am off to Trend to get a brand new Nova 3000, with extension bed, to replace my 100 year old, multiple renovated monstrosity, (family heirloom).
So, no sox/jox whippersnippers for me
Will post a follow up gloat next week.
