Easiest would be your local hardware, they will have the mat & resin. Prob. not the cheapest way to buy it though in any volume.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Gags, What do you want to do with it? I assume thats its probably for the car console or parts, but different resins are better suited to different jobs, and then there are cloth or mat glass, kevlar and carbon for reinforcement. Are you trying to sheath (glass over) something or mold something? Willing to try and help out where I can, and I'm in Croydon North.

gday malb i purchased a fibre glassing kit from bunnings for $38 there is enough to cover a metre square. im making a centre console for my car and im going to make it rounded with a contoured shape where the the gear stick comes out essentially it will be a long half cylinder with raised cylinder bout 10mm for the gear stick and then come down to the with like a cylinder done into the end to keep the goodie fone etc in the middle theres allso room for the hand brake lever. once the frame is made im goin to pull a stocking over the hol the thing and that will help make everythin link up like all the contours and stuff and then i will sort of use that with the fibre glass and mold it to the right shape sorry if it don make much sense its hard to explain. and then when its finished depending on how it looks or if theres inperfections will dictate whether i just paint it or whther i cover it with white vinyl to match the rest, oh by the way ive started the templlates for the piece of ally to go round the gear stick ive decided im gona do it with 1.6mm ally. we shifter to croydon north aswell thanks for the offer mate much appreaciated im might just take you up on that

There was a place in Nunawading that sold fiberglass matting resin etc
I think they where near the corner of Springvale Road and Maroondah Hwy.
Looking at whereis.com If my memory is correct it was in Glendale St
But it was a few years ago may-not be still thereElectricity:
