Due to some unforseen circumstances I've been back in the dam Rental Market again But the last joint I checked out although having aged gracefully & having a lot of character (politely meaning she needs a lot a work)
Had something that lit up my eyes like a christmas tree! I remember thinking this is the one!!.............imagine what i could get upto here!!!! Today my application for the lease evolved into a 'You've been successful in your application ..........when would you like to move in???
And here she is (See Pic) my first 'Real Shed' .............Has double garage then some High sealing ................ Not sure about power yet!!! I'm going to do a few searches & check out Best of the Best to get some good background info.
I do have one question though.........If I need to hook up power (Single Phase) whats the best way to go bout it & how much ya rechon it's cost????
REgardless I'm wrapped
Anyadvise on setting up shop security ventalation etc etc etc Really REally appreciated!!!!!

Lou, really pleased for you. Time to get the show on the road! Your enthusiasm will get you there. How long is the lease for? Hopefully you can't be de-leased after putting in all the set-up effort.

G,day Lou,
Well done on your new shed. Looks to be a good thing.
If you decide to wire it yourself be careful & don't short cut. That electrysical stuff can jolly well kill you !! Plus It's a mongrel of a way to get off the UBWWF members list. We'd all be pretty well ticked off about that too.
Take good care,
Barry.
P.S. I see that you've got one of those Clotheslineus HillsHoistii's growing in your garden. They're becoming a bit of a rarity these days.

Looks like one of those 'time warp' sheds to me.
You go in around 10am in the morning, spend a short time cutting, glueing, recutting, routing and admiring. Before you know it, it's getting dark outside and it's dinner time. Where did the day go ????
Good luck in there. If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

As its a renter, just use power leads and a sfatey switch power box thing, cost is less than the call out fee for a sparky plus u can take it when u leave....

G'day NewLou,
Top stuff! Now you no longer have to work have to work outside. Like Bodgy said, first thing you gotta do is build your bench, no touchie feelie woodie stuff - but a bench you can wallop things on.
One of my prerequisites in buying our house was a shed. You'll be in there for hours, your wife will forget what you look like and you'll be content, except of course for dreaming up all the stuff you need to fill it with and trying to get approval of SWMBO that you really need it.
Put as many power points as you can and also put a 15amp circuit in. Like clamps you can never have too many power points. I've got 9 - all filled up and now I need more. gaza has a point - you're only renting so I wouldn't go to the expence of anything more than power leads.
If I knew how to give you a greenie I would. A bloke has to have a shed!

This is very exiting Lou.
Agree with the others about power cords. Inexpensive, and gets the job done immediately.
Congrats! Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Well done Lou, When we bought our house, my wife was checking out curtins & carpets & was checking out my new shed.
You can live without curtins & carpet.
