Excellent news Luke, many mispent hours can now be spent out of the weather, and lets face it your weather down there can be well weathering

Nice shed Lou, electicians are pretty pricey, have a go doing it yourself, cant do much damage besides burning down the joint

Well done Lou, you deserve it. I beleive that security equals insurance. They won't steal your work.

I'm going down to the real estate tomorrow to finalise things.........I'll try to get in and take a few more pics of the interior............For me though shes HUGE!!!

Well done on your new shed. Looks to be a good thing.
If you decide to wire it yourself be careful & don't short cut. That electrysical stuff can jolly well kill you !!:eek: Plus It's a mongrel of a way to get off the UBWWF members list. We'd all be pretty well ticked off about that too.

P.S. I see that you've got one of those Clotheslineus HillsHoistii's growing in your garden. They're becoming a bit of a rarity these days.

Looks like one of those 'time warp' sheds to me.

You go in around 10am in the morning, spend a short time cutting, glueing, recutting, routing and admiring. Before you know it, it's getting dark outside and it's dinner time. Where did the day go ????

For those of you that see me around a bit.............Its been a bit over a year since I joined up the Great Aussie Woodwork Forums.

As you'll see in the Pics most of my work has been done under an outside patio.................my single garage used for storage of my Woodie & Household odds n ends (See Pics)

Being certafiedlyinsane and a bit of a gypsey Getting back into Woodwork has been the only thing I have stuck to and truely enjoyed over the past year!!!
Thanks to all the great forum members here who have taught me Sooooooooooo Much and have always been HAppy to help or stear me in the Right Direction!!!!!

I don't think you'll truely Know how enjoyable the Journey has been for ME!!!..............I look foward to sharing the next chapter in my new SHED

As its a renter, just use power leads and a sfatey switch power box thing, cost is less than the call out fee for a sparky plus u can take it when u leave....

Top stuff! Now you no longer have to work have to work outside. Like Bodgy said, first thing you gotta do is build your bench, no touchie feelie woodie stuff - but a bench you can wallop things on.

One of my prerequisites in buying our house was a shed. You'll be in there for hours, your wife will forget what you look like and you'll be content, except of course for dreaming up all the stuff you need to fill it with and trying to get approval of SWMBO that you really need it.

Put as many power points as you can and also put a 15amp circuit in. Like clamps you can never have too many power points. I've got 9 - all filled up and now I need more. gaza has a point - you're only renting so I wouldn't go to the expence of anything more than power leads.

If I knew how to give you a greenie I would. A bloke has to have a shed!

Well done Lou, When we bought our house, my wife was checking out curtins & carpets & was checking out my new shed.

You can live without curtins & carpet.
