Fireplace & Mantel Plans
Does anyone where I can get ahold of plans for fireplaces & mantels as I have a father-inlaw pestering me to build him one to go around his gas heater. Would appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks Rod I received your email and have shown the drawing to the father-in-law still not quite sure what he wants.

Hi Allen
I made a gas fire mantel for a friend. I can email a plan I drew in turbocad if you like. I looked around on the net and heaps of mags, but ended up inventing my own version from ideas I picked up. If you don't have a cad program, you can download the 2d version of TC from their internet site for free. It's a good program IMHO.

This is very strange. I posted a response to this but I damned if I can get it to display, even contacted my ISP about it. It obviously is there for others to see as I got an email reply from Allen. Again, very strange, the email showed up as new mail, but was not visible, I emailed the ISP regarding the problems, when their reply came in Allens email was in the viewing window, I quickly replied while it was there. Now the email is only visible on my reply in the sent items. Seems like either me or my pc is going mad.
Cheers
Rod
I wonder if I can see this one?

Thanks very much Rod, have shown the drawings to the father-inlaw, still not quite sure what he wants, honestly I don't think he knows either. Once again thanks for your help.
