A Few Firsts
Just thought I'd post some pics of my first cutting board (Jarrah / Camphor Laurel) and first pen (Gold / Titanium Sierra with Black Wattle body) made over the weekend. The cutting board has different radii so it sits atop the kitchen sink. Basic stuff I know but need to start somewhere. I'm also working on an abacus for my nephew to help with his maths homework.
cheers
Derek

I just love that chopping board! Very schmick.
Well done and cheers."Come sit down beside me" I said to myself, and although it didn't make sense,
I held my own hand as a small sign of trust, and together I sat on the fence.

Great work on your first pen and chopping board. Are you turning anything else at the moment?

Nice work.
I would really like to see a sketch of the abacus that you plan to make. That is of course you work from a sketch.
