Floor lamp
Decided to delve into something different and starting making floor lamps.
Timber is Tasmanian Huon Pine with natural edge and Blackwood front pole to house the LED strip light.

That's beautiful. I love it!
How did you get the base to be heavy enough to make it all stable?
I made 2 standing lamps out of karri. Although mine is a very conventional look compared to yours. Quite the contrast.

Outstanding design concept. I’ve been wanting to make floor lamps ever since i got started and this is a great idea.
Did you make a sled to cut this on a table saw or what?! We must know how you got that cut made, please...
