    Default Flux brushes

What is so special about flux brushes? Seems like every woodworker on youtube uses it for gluing - PVA, epoxy, whatever.

Why specifically these flux brushes with the small metal handle? Looks like this:
Tradeflame Flux Brushes - 5 Pack - Bunnings Australia

Can be bought on ebay and amazon cheaper than bunnings

But why not just use regular paint brushes what are even cheaper?

For gluing, I use a silicone brush... been going on the same one for ages, because the glue dries, you peel it off, and go again.

Different story if it's for finishing/painting of course - but there's another thread here covering all that.

What is it about these brushes that you like? Im trying to understand why they are so popular, when paint brushes can be purchased for cheaper

Probably the stiffer bristles. And the cost. I think I recall seeing a paint brush for 30¢ back in the 1960’s

Here, my local Ace hardware carries them for about $15 for a gross. That price was about 5 years ago as I still have 5 or 6 dozen left from the gross.
