    Default New to forum

Hello all - just joined the group and I am looking forward to reading and sharing ideas/thoughts as I a a little new to woodworking. First question I have is what is a good intro thicknesser, been looking at the CARBATEC 317mm or the Bayer 330mm. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

G'day Qwiggs, welcome to our madhouse.

You'll probably have more success with your query re: thicknessers if you post a new msg in the relevant area with a title along the lines of "which new thicknesser?" or "advice on a thicknesser" or similar.

Something that'd catch the eye of people in the know when they scan the listings of new posts.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Will do - thank you for the advice!
