Default Free melamine place at Lisarow closed ?

Hi. I’m hoping some Central Coast (NSW) residents will know the answer to this one.

Until about a year ago there was an office fitout / kitchen manufacturing company on Railway Crescent, Lisarow. They used to give away very generously sized offcuts of melamine faced pineboard and mdf. I filled the Ute up a couple of times before starting to build our house and it’s been really useful for everything from temporary assembly tables to making prototype cabinets to check form and sizing. Now after a couple of years it’s nearly all gone and I need more.

This place used to be a real bonanza. Often the ‘offcuts’ were not much less in size then a full board, usually the 25 to 32mm thick stuff, and you could take what you wanted. Clearly they had a policy of not wasting productivity on messing around with offcuts, so out they went.

Anyone know if it’s closed down or moved elsewhere?

    Cheers
    Arron

I don't know of the specific place you're referring to but I have also scrounged around the discarded offcuts from kitchen manufacturers as they come in handy for various little projects.
Why not swing by some kitchen manufacturers in the area (maybe North Gosford, industrial section of Erina, Tuggerah?) and see what they've chucked out?
