Default Does anyone want a free panel saw?

Right now your odds of winning our My Shed competition are pretty good, 1 in 58. Compare that to the lotto!!

All the info is here Australian Wood Review You just need to take a photo of your shed (put yourself in the picture as well) or the shed of a mate and send it to us.

You can check out the entries so far at Gallery Entries

You can help decide the winner by voting. Entry and voting closes this Friday, April 29.

    cheers,
    Linda Nathan

How come a large percentage of the entries don't feature the person who uses the shed? I thought that was a requirement? Most of the entries should not even be considered.

We suggest people put themselves in the picture because it makes the photo more interesting. We haven't made it a 'requirement' as such. The photos with people in them are getting more votes though I would have to say.

There are no complicated rules to this competition, it's pretty well just send a picture. We're not the ones judging either. The winner is decided by public voting alone.

Not fair I scream. I'm still trying to find my feet after 8 years in bed and a lot of my new shed is sitting in the loungeroom. My Scroll saw, 2 routers, belt/disk sander collections of router bits and other bits and pieces. Plenty more scattered around other rooms but I can't get my shed installed untill everything in there has been removed. Two guys have been promising me to move it all for ages but they are either too busy (down the pub) or they both forget at the same time. I don't stand a chance of winning a booze up in a brewery let alone a panel saw. Will a photo of me in my chair sitting among the bits qualify if you squint real hard and use your imagnination?

    Regards Stu

Yep, I just checked the entries..
firstly... some of them already have panel saws...they should be excluded..
secondly...some of those sheds are waaaay too clean....they should be excluded..
thirdly...some sheds are full of "ye olde tools"..they wouldn't know what to do with a panel saw...they should be excluded..
fourthly..some sheds don't have room for a panel saw...they should be excluded..
    fifthly..I'd like a panel saw...

    Hi Linda.

great comp, great prize. HOWEVER, most if not all the photos of people who have already entered have a panel saw / table saw already

    thats just being greedy

i'd enter too but my shed is no where near as opulent/well appointed as most entries. unless of course you can offer me a win

    cheers
    Zed

Some good looking sheds there ....... unfortunately mine is still in boxes so perhaps next year

I have cast my vote for not the best looking shed, or the shed I would most like, but for the shed I think could make the best use of the prize.

    Well done AWR
