Freighting costs from USA very low at moment
If members have been thinking about buying from US stores, there is another bonus at the moment.
I have been taking advantage this week of the high Australian dollar and buying from US stores.
Usually freight is a real cost factor and the USPS is the lowest cost, but the last two packages - Lee Valley and Woodcraft - the UPS or FedEx option has been cheaper and much faster. For example, surface mail 8-12 weeks $96, UPS Express 5-6 days $99.
Hope this is useful fto those thinking about buying from the USA.
cheers
