French curves?
Anyone have a clue where a bloke might find a set of french curves? either free on the net or somewhere else?
Im kinda sick of tryin to draw curves using cups mugs an arm the edge of a finger or what have you

Don't forget to check out the Flexi curves as well - very useful for larger curves - 300 - 600mm long

Have a look at almost any decent size newsagent. Especially one that does school supplies.

I think I posted this someplace else, but it really belongs here.
Back in my pre-CAD drafting days, one of my co-workers had a set of very, very French curves. Whenever he drew a line along certain parts of the curve, he said, "Pardon me, madam."

Our uni bookshop sells them, so try checking your local unis. And you'll need to tell us what you're doing with French curves.. including pics...

office works if you have them in your state ,if not a large stationary supplier should stock them .

what size circles / curves to you want ?
If it's for a boat, you'll need something way bigger than a french curve or jam tin
now if you want a nice big curve try and find a set of railway curves or a beam compass
even our mate Rob (the one over in maple leaf land) has these gooodies
