Galleries between Brisbane & Sydney
My wife wants to do a drive from Brisbane to Sydney and look in on all the woodworking places and galleries twixt here and there.
While we are both interested in woodwork in general, she is particularly interested in articles that could be upholstered such as chairs and blanket boxes etc.
She is an artist and is particularly interested in the aspect of upholstering in hand painted scenes eg. Australiana; botanical; fine detailed collections of items such as shells, butterflies etc.Bob Willson

timber
Don't know about galleries, but if you are passing Telegraph Point on the Pacific Highway, turn off at Tele Point, follow the road up to Rollands Plains, after around 15 KM turn left to Spokes Road, 21/2 km dirt road to Boutique Timbers, you will see some huge logs and a massive collection of cedar and rosewood timber. well worth the trip for a cup of tea and a chat.
