Galv Hinges
Greetings,
I went in to Bunnings (Melbourne) the other day to buy some galvanised butt hinges; only to discover that they don't stock them anymore!
What's more I can't seem to find a supplier anywhere.
All I want is some butt hinges (say 100mm or 75mm) which will last more than just a couple of seasons given that the hinge is going to be on the outside of a garden shed (for an outward opening door).
Bunnys now stock a large range of stainless hinges - but of course they are $7 + each! I refuse to pay $15 or more for a pair of hinges , even if I have already driven about 50kms and spent 2-3 hours looking for what I want It's a matter of principle !
Does anyone know where I might find some of these now rare beasts in the Melbourne area ?
Does anyone have experience with the painted or other types of hinges for outside use ?
Thanks in advance,Rebus

Try Tony's Hardware in Oakleigh - He has most things and a lot cheaper than bigger stores
