glass doors
I'am about to attempt making some glass doors with a mitred frame for the front of a display cabinet. I have made just wooden doors before this way, but I thought I would put the question out to some of you gurus and see if there is anything I need to be aware of when setting the glass into the frame.

Nitro
I made 2 doors last year and took the finished wooden frames to a glass merchant who cut and sealed the glass in with silicone. Very reasonable cost and far better result than I could have done. Make sure you have an adequate rebate in the back of the frame - I had about 10mm.
Hope that is some helpTom

Nitro, I refurbed some french doors awhile back. I noticed they had left a good 3 mm around the glass panels, obviously for movement of the timber frame. (or just slack workmanship)
