    Default Personalised Walnut Gift Box

    In this video Karl made a personalised wedding photography gift box out of walnut wood for a client who wanted to present photos and a USB stick in a personalised hand crafted box.

    He goes through the processes from how to machine timber, laser engraving a logo, oiling walnut and how to book match and cut to achieve a continuous grain around the box.

    Building a box with mitered corners with no reinforcement is not the right way, in my opinion.

    Especially risky in black walnut.
