Default My Great Great Great Grandfathers tool box

I have been banging on in past posts about my Great, Great, Great Grandfather who came to Melbourne in 1842 and started making furniture, last Friday I gave my sat nav the instructions and let Wallace & Grommet guide me all the way to Kenton to view his tools and chest that now rest safely in the hands of a Windsor Chair maker

It must be nice knowing it's still all together and not scattered to the four winds.

It is fantastic Phil ... I think I would want to sleep on it, in it or next to it

Do you have other items or letters of his as well?

If the chance arises, I'd be curious to know the make of the level tucked in at the front there.

    Thank you for sharing,

    Paul.

    Phil

From time to time I have made reference to an uncle of mine, now deceased, who was a cabinet maker and shop fitter. Guess where he lived for a major portion of his life? Kenton in Middlesex.

That chest is truly a beauty.

. Not to worry. Does not detract in any way from the toolbox.
