    Post Dining Table makeover/modification

    Here's a chalenge

    I have a Dining Table of 5 Feet X 2 Feet 9 inches ot Teak Wood and a Height of 2 Feet 6 inches . The Dining Table Top Board of Height 30 mm is removable from its legs. . I want the Top Board of this dining Table of 5 Feet 6 inches X 3 Feet .
    Can anyone suggest some idea how to make this Larger dining table using the existing Top Board

    Just add extra timber. 5'6 by 4 inch and 6 inch by 2'9 should get you to the right size, but I'm crap with imperial measurements.

    As to how to do it exactly, I would suggest perhaps cutting the existing piece in half lengthways and adding the new bit in the middle, and add length by fitting "breadboard ends" in the new timber.

    I'm with NZStu, cut in half and add the extra in the middle, if you add it to one side (or some to both sides, it will probably never look right.

    But a picture of the Table would help us to visualise the problem.
