HAFCO DS-13 Drum Sander???
Hi all,
I have a HAFCO DS-13 Drum Sander on sale locally for $750 - user says used once etc then stored - but these are now discontinued.
Does anyone have one? are they any good? pros/cons etc?
Not in a major rush for a drum sander, but it is on my eventual hobbyist wishlist - and if this is a bargain then i could see if i can stretch for it...

Hi, I had one of these for many years and was very happy with it. I did upgrade to the Laguna 18/36 and then it was like chalk and cheese but for the money the H&F did a good job.
Cheers,
Peter

Depends on what and how you plan to use it. I wouldn't consider such a machine for a professional, or hard use hobby. The drums plug and begin to burn quickly. If it were variable speed I'd rethink that position but I doubt it is. It's fixed on both ends which is a huge plus.
