    Default Halloween special

Finally got into the spirit and knocked up a coffin to give the kids a treat and a bit of a scare.

    Nice!

I managed to get away with just carving a punkin' again.

I did that too but as it was my first one I didn’t know that it’s supposed to be done on the day or the night before and it literally disintegrated in the front yard.

Yeah, it does help if they're intact on the night. I made the same mistake with my first, too...

With that box, is there an "inner box" to hold the candy or do they go all the way down to the bottom of the coffin?

All the way, it had $50 worth in there and I designed the hole so that only a small clenched fist could come out and prevent kids taking big handfuls. My son went round with his mates and there were kids just helping themselves to great handfuls as no one was watching and didn’t come home with much.

the little kids were a bit daunted about sticking their hand in there but it got a lot of attention from the parents who thought it was a great idea.
