Imagine a full sized portable milling machine for slabbing trees.
Then just imagine a smaller version that is used in conjunction with your bandsaw
You basically just attach your small/medium sized logs to the device and run them through your bandsaw to make small slabs/slices etc. It is adjustable so you can slide the base left right to vary the thickness to cut or to make the next cut etc.
I know I can probably make my own yadda yadda but just wanted to know if anyone had seen any in Oz.How much wood could the woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck could chuck wood?

I think it's a gizmo that holds an irregular shaped log steady while you run it through a resaw-bladed bandsaw.
Cheers,
Adam

The simplicity of some of the "jigs" out there never ceases to amaze me.
WW is a hobby where by definition, people make stuff for themselves. So to see a wooden pushstick advertised for $14 confuses me.Cheers,
Adam

Very expensive for something that can be made with about $7-00 worth of MDF, a piece of mild steel rod and about 20 minutes of your time.
