Default Second hand MDF cover sheet supplies

I often go to cabinet makers and grab their cover sheets for various projects around home. However lately it appears the plywood/MDF sheet manufactures are cutting back on MDF cover sheets and reverting back to chipboard. Not nearly as strong or good quality.
I am fortunate that I have good relationship with 2 local cabinet makers and if they now get MDF boards they will let me know.
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

    Bunnings have them.

If you talk to the service desk they'll keep them for a time if you guarantee to come get them.

Otherwise they are put "out the back" and sold in the scraps bin for a dollar, or so.

They tidy up quickly with a good wipe down (some are covered in soot) and sand. Edges need to be trimmed mostly.

I'd imagine the tradies grab them too, for some reason or another, but there seems to be far less demand than supply.
